Edifort Limited Warranty Statement

This Limited Warranty applies to Edifort aluminum door and window products sold and installed within the United States.

1.1 Product Structure

Edifort warrants that aluminum frames and sash components will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for ten (10) years from the original purchase date.

1.2 Glass Units

Insulated dual-pane tempered glass units are warranted against seal failure for two(2) years from the original purchase date. Glass breakage caused by external force is not covered.

Locks, hinges, rollers, pivots, and operating hardware are warranted against functional failure due to manufacturing defects for five (5) years.

1.4 Factory Finishes

Powder-coated aluminum finishes are warranted against blistering, peeling, or abnormal fading for five (5) years under normal environmental conditions.

2. Warranty Remedies

Edifort’s obligation under this Limited Warranty is, at its option, to:

• Repair the product,
• Provide replacement parts, or
• Replace the defective product.

Replacement components may differ in finish or appearance due to normal production variations. Labor, shipping, and onsite service costs may apply.

3. Conditions & Exclusions

• Modification or alteration of products without Edifort authorization
• Cosmetic imperfections, minor scratches, or normal wear
• Failure resulting from improper maintenance or cleaning products
• Glass breakage caused by impact or environmental stress
• Performance issues arising from building movement or settling
• Corrosion or finish deterioration in coastal/high–salt exposure unless upgraded protective finish was purchased

Edifort is not responsible for incidental or consequential property damage.

4. Proper Installation Requirement

This warranty applies only to products installed:

• Square, level, and plumb
• In accordance with Edifort installation instructions
• In compliance with applicable building codes

Improper installation voids this warranty.

5. Transferability

This Limited Warranty is transferable one time to a subsequent property owner if the product remains in its original installed location.
Transfer requires written notice to Edifort within 90 days of ownership change.

6. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a claim, the original owner or transferee must:

  1. Notify Edifort in writing at info@edifort.com within thirty (30) days of discovering the issue.

  2. Provide proof of purchase, product identification, and clear photos.

  3. Permit Edifort to inspect the product physically or via remote evaluation.

Failure to follow this process may delay or void claim eligibility.

7. Statutory Rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights.
You may also have other rights that vary by state, including implied warranty periods or exclusions that may not apply in all jurisdictions.

8. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty.

Edifort makes no other express warranties except as stated herein.

9. Limitation of Liability

Edifort shall not be liable for:

• Removal, reinstallation, or finishing labor
• Transportation, inspection, or service costs

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply.
